I had the opportunity to see the Palazzo della Civilta del Lavoro in person and it is fascinating, partly because you can see it rising above everything else from a distance.

I would like to recommend looking at a newly built development in Guatemala called Cayalá. It's a walkable city done right because the architect prioritized, like you said, timeless beauty with the history and culture of the area. Unlike other walkable developments that have failed because of a focus on modernism and environmentalism, this one seems like it'll endure.
